Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs gives us an illustration of what the human needs to thrive in their environment. One of the basic needs that helped me find a level of success after prison is alive and Belonging. This is the third level from the bottom where the human needs to fill loved and a sense of belonging amongst family and friends.
